Greg Acquistapace
- Father of two ASC Alpine skiers(bombers,devo). Employed with Placer County as a Utility Worker. Skied for the last 22 yrs and Snowboarding for the last 22 yrs. Member of the Board since 2010. Home Town Auburn.
Mark Agosti
- Tall, dark, handsome, Bay Area transplant living in Auburn going on nine years, avid alpine skier since age of 12 (Thank you Mogul Ski Club!) Married (once) to the love of my life Dana and have one child, my greatest creation, named Nicholas. He had his first full year of skiing last season with ASC 2010-11 and loved it. This made me want to do everything I could to insure that he keeps learning and growing as an Alpine Skier. Guy Hodgdon
- Based in Auburn, I have been skiing alpine since I was a teenager. I am CTO of a software company based out of Dallas and work with manufacturing businesses performing system and business integration and restructuring. I am new to ASC with my daughter and I joining in 2010. This is a great club and I look forward to many years to come. Member of the Board since 2010. Home Town Auburn.
Tom McElroy
- I was a member of the US Biathlon Team for four years where I won four National Championships, and competed in the 1979 & 1980 Junior World Championships. I started coaching in the Super Sliders program in 1998,and have been helping with ASC, Far west, and Truckee school programs since. I am now working with the ASC/Northstar Biathlon Program. I am a General Contactor and a current ASC Board member. Member of the Board since 2010. H0me Town Truckee.
Derek McKay
- I have been the assistant coach for the Nevada Union High School Nordic team for the last 12 years. I have been active in the scoring and timekeeping for the High School Nordic league. In the past I coached the ASC Teen Tourer group. This year I have started a summer roller skiing program for Foothill High School athletes. In recent years I have started competing in WorldLoppet races and am over half way towards being a World Master. I am an Engineering Consultant in the Foothills. Member of the Board since 2003. Mark McKay Moran
- Avid Skier, passionate about community organizations and youth projects. Entrepreneur with experience in business and non profit organizations. Member of the Board since 2011. Home Town Truckee.
Sandi Piercy
- When they moved from the Bay Area in 06, Sandi’s family were avid Alpine skiers and knew very little about Nordic Skiing until her son, Joe joined ASC’s Nordic Development Team. Cross Country Skiing had a life changing effect on Joe and Sandi’s appreciation of the top level coaching Joe received led her to volunteering her time at races. Now Sandi is a permanent member of the timing crew and Fundraising Chairman for the Nordic Team and has been a NCC member for two years and a board member for one. She enjoys giving back to the Nordic Community who so warmly embraced her family and invites you to come volunteer too. Member of the Board since 2009. Home Town Truckee.
Maggie Shane
- I am a small business consultant. I became involved with ASC when my son began nordic racing. I became a timing volunteer and TD for Nordic events. I joined the board when my son left for college. I was a member of the NCC and have been president for 3 years. Member of the Board since 2007. Home Town Truckee.

Dean Steinhoff
- Raised in Dutch Flat where our Elementary School had a ski program with Boreal. First joined ASC in the 70′s as a high school racer for Colfax, where I am now the snowboard coach. Things have come full circle. Retired Fire Captain after a full career with Sac Metro, so advanced training in trying to make order out of chaos! With a natural tilt towards common sense. Phill Violett
- Originally from the Foothills north of Grass Valley. Developed as a cross country ski racer thru the development programs offered by the Auburn Ski Club. Raced collegiately for Northern Michigan University. Currently living in Auburn and training for biathlon. Member of the Board since 2009. Home Town Granite Bay.
