During the ski season ASC Training Center hosts Cross Country races open to skiers of all ages, both recreational and competitive.

Any person racing in the USSA Sprints, Paco’s and the Presidents Cup race must have a USSA membership and number before the race. A USSA membership lasts for one year. If you don’t have a membership or your membership is not current you must sign up with USSA online by the night before the race you will not be seeded. You must provide us with your USSA number by the morning of the race. You do not have to a USSA number to qualify for Junior Nationals, but it is helpful. Please talk to your coach to find out if you should have a USSA membership or if you have questions.
All racers must be registered by Thursday at midnight in order to be seeded for a USSA race. All other racers will be placed at the end of the pack.
Anyone racing in a USSA race must have a USSA license.
TAHOE MOUNTAIN SPORTS HOLIDAY SPRINTS-
December 16, 2017
9:30am: Two Youth Races, a stadium and 1k. The youth races do not include heats, there is just a mass start qualifier.
9:45am: The U14 races will be split by gender, have individual starts, and heats.
10:00am: All racers U16 and older need to be USSA members, or get a temporary license. U16’s and older will split by gender, but will not have age group heats.

PACO’S FREESTYLE- USSA NRL

9:30am: This is a mass start; there is a 1k youth race and a 2.5k youth and U14 race.
10:00 am: USSA Race. This is an interval start freestyle race. 10 km MU18/U20; 5 km MU16 and all women. Anyone with a valid USSA Nordic License is welcome to race during this time.
11:30am: There is a citizens 5k and 10k mass start race.
SNOWSHOE THOMPSON CLASSIC

9:30am: Mass start 2 km and stadium for youth racers (U12 and younger)
10:00am: This is an interval start classic race. 10km and 5km. (all ages)
11:00am: Snowshoe Division 5km (all ages)

One of the oldest ski races in the west. Classic technique only. New in 2017, there is a 5k snowshoe division.

This is a mass start Freestyle race for all races.
9:30am: 1k citizen’s Youth race, 3 km citizen’s race for U14 and Youth
10:00am: USSA Race, everyone racing during this time must have a valid license. 10km: U20 and U18 Men and Women, 5k: U16 Boys and Girls
11:00am: 5k and 10k Citizen’s race
