SNOWBOARD

2011-12 Snowboarding a.k.a. the “Riders” program

The ASC snowboard program, and head coach Dylan Omlin, were both named the #1 USA program and coach  by the US Ski and Snowboard Association.  Our Riders teams train at Boreal and Alpine Meadows and get the best of big mountain riding, parks, rails and halfpipe to suit the needs of our athletes. The program accommodates entry level athletes all the way up to internationally competitive full time snowboarding athletes competing in events from the local USASA series, to the Burton Global Open Series, Revolution Tour, US Snowboarding Grand Prix and World Juniors. The training program is catered to your level of commitment from one day a week up to full time.

Our Full Riders, Junior and Devo Snowboard teams’ training includes gate training, slope style, half pipe and freestyle riding. Technique and tactics are addressed in all disciplines.  Many of our Riders athletes are also members of high school varsity teams and ASC Varsity dues are included in Riders dues.
