- Be sure to bring Warm Clothes to train in and Dry Clothes to change into after each workout. In fact, now that winter is here you should bring these items to every practice.

 - Remember: You need to be doing strength training on your own in addition to what we are doing together. Aim for 2-3 sessions per week of at least 30 minutes each including warm-up and cool-down.

- NOTE: Please let your coaches know immediately if you have any injury or pain that is bothering you. This helps us to modify your training schedule to ensure you can get healthy as quickly as possible. Also, please LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE if you’re not going to be at a scheduled practice.

- Lastly, YOU are responsible for your bringing your own equipment to and from practice! Do not count on your coaches to have equipment for you. If you have rented equipment, you should be taking it home with you after practice. If you need help with equipment on a given day, you MUST let your coaches know in advance, and we will try to figure out a way to help you.

 

Monday, 20 February

Skate JNQ- Auburn Ski Club

Race Start at 10am with 3km first, then 5km, then 10km.
All J2s will do 5km. All J1 and OJs will do 10km. Mass Start.
Be there by 9am to warm-up. Far West coaches will be available to supplement your glide wax/structure if you need it.
Go Fast. Go Hard. Leave Nothing to Chance. Throw the foot...

Skate Ski. Easy Distance. Speeds.

Meet at Truckee HS at 9am or at Tahoe XC in Tahoe City at 9:30am. We will warm-up, followed by Hard Speeds and Agility. Please bring gloves, water bottle, snacks, lots of warm clothes, and dry clothes to change into. Workout will be over at 11:15am and back to the HS at 12pm.


Thursday, 23 February

Classic Ski. Distance w/ Speeds.

Meet at Truckee HS at 9am or at ASC at 9:15am. We will warm-up, followed by Hard Speeds and Agility. Please bring gloves, water bottle, snacks, lots of warm clothes, and dry clothes to change into. Workout will be over at 11:15am and back to the HS at 12pm.

Saturday, 25 February

Sprint Relay Race at ASC- Skate

Meet at Truckee HS at 9am or at ASC at 9:15am. We will warm-up, choose teams and then get into a Fun, but Hard Sprint Team relay format. Please bring water bottle, snacks, lots of warm clothes, and dry clothes to change into. Workout will be over at 11:15am and back to the HS at 12pm.

Sunday, 26 February

Skate Ski. Easy Distance- COMP ONLY.

Meet at the Truckee HS at 9am or at Tahoe XC in Tahoe City at 9:15am. We will warm-up and do some easy, recovery distance skiing. Bring H2o, Snacks, and your Skate skis. Workout will be over at 11am and back to the HS at 11:30am.
